yeah this isn't every day

I knew from the beginning I want going to be able to do every day posts, or even every other day, but hey this is still a pretty decent chunk of days! And it doesn't hurt anything to not post. But I think the habit of taking time to write something for myself or a small handful of other people peeking in from a Tumblr post, is a habit worth pursuing. 

I'm thinking about trying to get into journaling, because you KNOW I've got a chest full of stationery. But also sitting down to write feels so formal. Making a post in an ancient blog space feels much more natural, like the secrets of my notes app or texts to my sibling. 

I kinda feel that way about a lot of things. I know something unpolished is better than nothing at all. But sometimes I really wish I had the time and energy and focus to polish, y'know? I could probably do pretty cool things. Or maybe I just make big plans in the cheap notebook because I'll save the cute fancy one for when I know what I'm doing.
